(Blast Attack) Munificus can move up to Range 15. Knockback.
(Psychic Support) Gain an additional random Mutation.
This unit is immune to the following Afflictions: Bleed, Blinded, Crazed, Dominated, Enraged, Panicked, Plagued, Knockback, Banish, Purge.
When CRIT, Munificus’ body drops a Hazard over Area 3, summoning random Bloomspawn. Hazard Afflict Plagued (100%, 2 Turns).
After he is attacked, Munificus automatically heals 100% of his HP.
Munificus removes all Afflictions and loses -7 Max Health when a target points is destroyed.
(Auto (100%, ∞ / Turn)) When CRIT, Munificus leaps up to Range 15, causing a Blast at Area 2. Triggers Bile Spray.
(Auto (25%, ∞ / Turn)) When this unit is hit by a Melee Attack, 25% chance to cancel it automatically.
(Auto (25%, 1 / Turn)) When an enemy moves adjacent to Munificus tail, it has a 100% chance to strike automatically. Knockback.
All damage done to Munificus is rendered ineffective as it just regenerates 100% of it. So how do you beat Munificus? Land criticals and stuns. Munificus gets damaged whenever a limb is severed of off it and you can do it with critical and stun attacks. Whenever you sever a part, Munificus permanently gets 7 damage. This makes it extremely important that you bring in Grey Knights that specialize and are equipped to deal criticals and stuns. Make sure to plan and prepare for this fight as it can be grueling if you come in unprepared.
Aside from chopping and slowly reducing Munificus’ health, you can also choose to destroy parts that allow Munificus to use certain attacks. This can help you in the long run as it constantly leaps and harasses your team using various means.
Whenever you sever a part of Munificus, it leaps to another part of the map. With the distance and the map’s layout, it might take you a turn or two to just come after it to attack again. Counter this by bringing in Interceptors with upgraded Teleports so that you can efficiently go after Munificus every turn.
As a consequence of severing a limb from Munificus, it summons Bloomspawns that can be quite a nuisance in the long run. Ignoring them may also be possible but they can inflict Plague and attack from a long distance. Have one of your Grey Knights, possible a well-equipped Fire Support to destroy them as the others advance to track Munificus.
Alternatively, you can choose to bring in 4 Interceptors or 3 Interceptors & 1 Apothecary. As Interceptors are decent here as they can have high CRIT with decent weapons and war gear. In addition, they have the extremely useful Teleport ability. Make sure to have decent Power Armor that has additional HP stats and Movement to make this fight easier.
