In Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, players can upgrade weapons and armor to increase the Grey Knights’ performance in the battlefield. But how do you upgrade weapons and armor? What do you need? Read this guide to know more!

In order to unlock the option to upgrade your weapons and armor, you must first finish the story mission “Nexus”. After 12 days, you will be prompted with a message that you can now upgrade your equipment using purity seals a.k.a. upgrades.

To upgrade weapons, access the Barracks while in the Baleful Edict. From there, pick a Grey Knight and go to Loadout. Choose a weapon or armor that you want to upgrade and equip it first. Once equipped, you can now upgrade the equipped item provided that you have the seeds for the upgrade.
If you find it a hassle to go around and upgrade weapons and armor, you can also do so before heading into missions with your team. Just follow the above steps and equip the items that you want to upgrade before sending out your Grey Knights.
Be wary when upgrading as the seeds that you spend on an upgrade cannot be regained. Make sure to choose the weapon or armor that you want to upgrade, then select which stat.
Events involving Ectar can either increase or decrease the seeds required to upgrade your weapons and armor. Researching certain technologies can also reduce their required number.
