In Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, you must defeat the forces of Chaos using your Strike Squad of Grey Knights. Sadly, there is no new game plus or endgame content after defeating the final boss of the Chaos Gate Daemonhunters. You do not get any special choices or events even after the final battle. The credits just roll and reverts back to the main menu. You also do not carry over anything when you start with a new campaign. Starting a new campaign means starting from scratch here.
The final mission is triggered by researching the “Purgation Ritual” technology. Upon completion of the research, the game forcibly throws you down to the last 3 missions of the game. Make sure to save before taking on this mission as this is a point of no return. Having a separate save file also allows you to go back, collect more items, and explore a bit more. You will be prompted with a message about this so best follow it.
Although the base game does not have a new game plus, we might find the feature bundled as DLC. Since the game has assets featuring other factions such as Eldar and Khorne daemons, it’s not impossible to expect some endgame content or otherwise to be packed in future DLCs.
